an acoustic concert in the stunning front garden of the Sisters of Mercy Convent Singleton

The Djangologists perform music inspired by jazz legend Django Reinhardt while adding their own twist! Relax in the Convent front garden listening to blistering fast tunes to velvety ballads and everything in between! The musicians love their audience to be a part of the experience –  whether you dance, sing or just smile, it doesn’t matter!

You are invited to BYO drinks, picnic food, rugs or low seats and relax in our front garden. A Convent-made afternoon tea will also be served during the concert. Additional seats will be provided around the garden.
The garden will open at midday.
In case of wet weather, the concert will be held in our Community Room.


$30 adult and $5 school student – they are available at and will also be available at the gate from 1.30pm.

A hamper for your picnic?

Worn Out Wares cafe, close to the Convent, is offering pre-ordered hampers specially for this concert – they must be pre-ordered by 5pm Wed 4 September directly from Worn Out Wares ph 6572 1866 and must be picked up from the Cafe on the day of the concert.
The menu:

  • Alfresco Hamper $25 pp – Leg ham off the bone, Chimichurri Potato Salad, Crusty Ciabatta Loaf, Sweet potato & fetta muffin and Pikelets with Double cream & Berry Jam
  • Picnic Basket $30 pp – Beef and Caramelised Onion Sausage Rolls, Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings, Rocket, Pear & Parmesan Salad, Pizza Muffins and Cinnamon Donuts
  • Vegetarian Collection $30 pp – Sesame Hummus with crackers, Roasted Vegetable Wrap with fetta crumbs, Asian cabbage salad with noodles & coriander, Curry Roasted Nuts and Chocolate Coated Strawberries
